Hehehe, yer, alot of these pictures I've put up places before... I was feeling arty, so I drew some pictures since I posted! Yet another griffA fox demon - I might actually make an RP character of this guy... Experimenting with brushes in Paint Shop pro. And my pressure sensitive tablet.

I was looking through an old sketchbook today and found this creature I had drawn about last summer, It was drawn in black and red pen, and I liked it's design alot. I havn't got round to scanning it yet, but I did another drawing off it on the computer, in a different position. Here it is!I liked this creaure alot, and it seems to have a bit of history/story behind it's race. It seems to be some kind of domesticated animal, shown here with decorations, belonging to a tribe of people. The markings/colour of the creature are bred to be ornate, the more elaborate, the more desireable. These creatures pull war chariots, and are also a sign of grandure. The purer the black/white, the more expensive the creature. They can be used in warefare, their spines and claws make effective weaponry. Okay, so here's one without the harnesses and decorations. This one has a variation on markings; the stripes are brownish colour, and they show some intracate patterns. Here's a wild one. The markings are more random and striped, aswell as the brown base colour. This makes it sutable for camoflage. These (as yet, nameless.) Creatures are carnivours, their beak is efficient at cutting through flesh. They live in packs in the wild, and hunt as a group. The size of the spines show dominance, older males have the largest, whilst females' horns grow slowly and are always smaller than the males'. When they are born, they have no spines at all, and they grow as they get older. The tail spines are used as defense, and also, in males, to fight to gain dominance in the pack. They are quite intelligent creatures, but cannot learn human languages, they can, however, speak amongst eachother and create detailed plans of capturing prey. They prefer to live in forested areas, but have been known to venture out onto desert land to prey on the herbivores living there. They live in tropical regions, and have been domesticated as a means of transport and use in warefare. Females are more docile than males, and are therefore the ones used for pulling carts and such, males are more vicious and are used in battle.

I know I've already commented, but just to be sure, I like the idea a lot, and the drawings are very good!

Hehe, thanks! This is what happens when you use manga and "the art of LOTR" for reference material....

i4.photobucket.com/albums/y111/PixelMage/Wolf-1.jpg A wolf! Not any old wolf though, it's Ballad. I tried to make the wolf have some human features, but not totally. Just a little different. I didn't have any reference material, so the neck is a bit off and stuff, but meh.
